    could you please direct me to a workflow where i could find the ways to create an event handler which will copy the contents of a list to a different list. provided the parameters, types, and number of columns are same. in moss 2007 Many Thanks

      There is no built-in workflow to accomplish this, you will need to crate a custom workflow http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627284(v=office.12).aspx[^]

        i dont want a workflow. i want an event handler to resolve this issue.

          Then why did you ask "could you please direct me to a workflow"? Don't expect anyone here to be able to read your mind. State clearly what it is you want and you will get better answers.

            As was pointed out by another resopndent why are you asking for a workflow if you want an event handler? Take a look at this article Extending SharePoint Server 2007 by using Features[^] It only gives examples of deleting but it covers the basics of SharePoint event handlers.
