You can use a tool to wake the computer (start it) like http://oette.wordpress.com/2009/05/15/wol2-update/[^]. Once you've started the computer then you will be able to get all the info you would be able to get with it being ON. Hope this helps... :thumbsup: ===> modification beyond this point... PS: you will need to get the mac address of the computer you want to WOL. With the software tool I've linked you will be able to do it automatically without even being in front of the computer: you'll be able to get the computer's name, IP, brand of the network card and MAC address. Usually the network cards remain powered to allow the computer to WOL. Some old computers don't allow to be awaken. And in other cases you could need to tweak the BIOS.
