Hi, I am using role based authorization. Is it possible to deny access to a control using webconfig. I have created a menu ( not from sitemap) in the master page and I want this menu to be accessible only by users in roles and not by everyone else. I know I can make it invisible in login page etc but is there any other way? Here is a part of the web config code

No you cannot handle the control display from Web.Config file. You can handle the URL authorization only. Thus, Menu will be visible as per set for the page. If you display all, then authorization is the way to stop them. Ideally, you hide it if it is not accessible.
