Our infamous troll, o54m4[^] keeps posting the same idiotic message in The Lounge. Could we please have his account disabled, as he is of no value to the community at all.

I have always been an advocate of the automatic account deactivation if your total rep score falls below a certain number...say anything below zero or -50...for starters anyhow.

So I delete him and he pops back up. Then what? Vote to remove his messages and do not reply to him.

I know there are some issues with actually removing messages, so this suggestion may not be workable, but once a message has been voted to be removed and there are no replies to that message and the message is a thread start message, would it be possible for that message to be removed? :)

              Apparently people can't ignore trolls.

I'm not a stalker, I just know things. Oh by the way, you're out of milk.

Then we all drive you nuts with another pile of deletion requests... :) Cheers, Chris, I feel your predicament.

Funny how we try to control the hard to control (trolls) by attempting to control the hard to control (the urge of a the numerous non-trolls to feed trolls).

How is it any different with spammers who keep reopening accounts after they're deleted?

I thought this was an excellent response to a similar question. http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3816364/Re-Since-when-did-AGW-posts-start-getting-deleted.aspx[^]

Where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master. ~ Ayn Rand
