In light of all the Israel bashing going on here, I thought I might point this out: Missile from Gaza hits Israeli school bus; 2 hurt Israel's enemies deliberately target women and children. Where are the condemnations for that?

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Notice how they don't specify whether it was militants who were killed. They just say Palestinians. That's to inflame things against Israel. The terrorists purposely hide themselves among the civilian population. What's Israel supposed to do, not retaliate?

So the article you posted to prove your point in biased in the other direction? 5 dead + 30 injured > 2 injured no matter the labels you apply to those people. And you're the one talking about fairness.

Both sides should denounce all religion, accept that they are all human beings and share the desire to live in peace.

That is incorrect. There are extremists on both sides that push for the annihilation of the other side. To suggest otherwise is ignorant. Most people that live in the West Bank want the same things you do, peace, food, housing, opportunity for their children, medical care. The ONLY solution is for both sides to stop indoctrinating their children to hate other human beings. And the rest of us should not perpetuate lies about a people we know virtually nothing of.

That is not incorrect. Hamas' charter calls for the destruction of Israel. Israel's constitution does not call for the murder of innocent Palestinians.

But there are elements within both sides that call for the destruction of the other. The fact that those are not currently in power in Israel is immaterial. They're as guilty as each other. To sit on the other side of the world and declare otherwise is ignorant.

What else could they have expected to happen? So, why don't they just leave the country? That's the only solution if you have a problem with where you live. Shooting missiles only makes things worse.

There is no peace. It will remain our little gladiatorial arena for as long as extremists will have a say in the way the Israelis and Arabs there are ruled. Organized religion is evil and outdated and has no business in ruling a state.

Hamas dont want Jews wiped out, just the state of Israel, and with good reason. Imagine if a big chunk of the UK was taken and given to a group of people, coming from all over the world, and claiming decendencey from the Durotriges, a group of people who lived in Britain 2,000 years ago. A new country is formed inside Britain, with massive support from a very rich country, and more and more of thesse Durotriges swarm in from all over the world. The neighbouring coiuntries get pissed off and there was then a war. The Durotriges win, capturing a lot of land owned by the British, which after the war they refuse to hand back, thus doubling the size of Durotrigia. All the British citizens left inside Durotrigia are now subjected to endless checks and their farm land stolen for building houses. This is exactly what has happened in Palestine. At what stage do you think the British have a right to fight back?

Yeah, its exactly whats happened. As soon as its described using a European country it looks very different though in peoples eyes because they lack any kind of real honesty or fairness. I think Israel is unfair. It shouldnt exist. Now, the reason it exists is actually quite funny. I knew a guy who was a hard core christian. He worked for a charity whose role was to rehouse jews from al over the world in Israel. The reason is because as soon as all the jews are back in Israel Jesus comeas back down to earth. Or at least thats what they believe based on what written in the bible. And thats why Israel has such massive support in the US, because the US is full of fundamantalist christians. Now, the funny thing is,. as soon as Jesus comes back down to earth, the jews are all aparently going to convert to christianity, thats also aparently written in the bible. So, the creation of Israel has been done with the intent of ending the jewish religion!
