Okay the Hairdressers nextdoor is blasting out Xmas Music which they have now been playing the same CD for the past 2 days - My fellow office inmate and I are trying to work out how to destroy the music sytem by remote - any ideas please.

Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

Build a gigantic electro magnet, and frazzle it with EMP (of course you'd have to turn off everything electrical in your office first...) -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Perhaps the old fashioned way will work best? Book an appointment, accidently slip and knock the hi-fi off it's table? Then look sad and cute...

Or go in wearing earplugs, and turn it up so loud that it blows the speakers -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Okay, here's how you do it...build a remote control flying creature (like a bee, bees are nice) and load it with a small amount of explosive material. Fly it near the music system, detonate, and no more Xmas music. Okay, maybe I'm starting to lose it since bedtime was 6 hours ago. Brad Jennings

Off-key. If they complain say you like their music that much. Other idea: Record a CD with the same music... getting slower and slower. Sneak in at nite, relplace CD. try one of the generic remote controls from ThinkGeek.

Hmm, something off topic, completly unrelated, possibly unnatural - why not ask them politely to turn it off/down?

Its becoming a long pitch battle... this Hairdresser only has the memory span of 20mins - I think it is some sort of protection mehanism so they can repeat the same conversations ad-nauseam (we know as they then have to shout these conversations/stories over the noise of the music and driers)
