I did a very scary thing tonight, very scaring indeed. I acted out a smiley to someone without thinking twice about it. The smiley in question is. ;P Rather than just winking, smiling and tilting my head slightly in the normal friendly joking manor, I caught myself also poking my tongue out and doing that "beckoning" motion with it. I got a very strange look from my friend. I gave myself an even stranger look. I dread to think what will happen next - I'll probably start batting alternate eyelids in rapid sucession or start wearing blusher. :omg: :-O Is this normal behavour? Have I just been spending too long on discussion boards? Can I be saved before it's too late?! :~

But the silent "dropped jaw, wide-eyed blinking shock and horror" look has brought my point across in meetings several times, quickly and efficiently, without having to utter a word.

Fortunately I haven't actually stuck my tongue out yet, but the "Lol" thing keeps catching up with me at the most inconvenient moments. Lets just say my elderly grandfather had no idea what to make of it at a family lunch today ;P ;P ;P

the "Lol" thing keeps catching up with me at the most inconvenient moments That's one that we use a lot at our house, along with noob and roxorz yur boxorz. We do it just to add randomness to the conversation (as well as make fun of haxorz and each other). Ahh, there's nothing like living in a house where a good deal of the conversation is cliches and inside jokes. Brad Jennings My latest nickname: Kidney Stone (Nickname courtesy of my roommates)
