Not in the way it was used in the OP it isn't. Gotten cannot be used when talking about possession, so implying that DD isn't in possession of the point means that it is not valid in any form of English, certainly not one that dropped from use in the UK a few hundred years ago and is only being kept alive by a few Americans.
