Naturalists benefit when the military kills birds because "bird-watchers get more enjoyment spotting a rare bird than they do spotting a common one." Or, so said a lawyer for the GWB administration, while arguing that the military needs to be except from the Endangered Species Act. (quote from a new article on www.salon.com) -c

Even Al Gore would be hard pressed to find anything that stupid to say - who was the legal eagle that came up with that sorry excuse? And why the hell is he still employed? "Condor? I'd say it tastes like something between Spotted Owl and Bald Eagle" - Rescued hiker, upon being acquitted, for humanitarian reasons, of violations of the Endangered Species Act.

Pickle him, skin him, stuff him, and put it on display in a museum. An endangered specie consisting of one specimen is not, by definition, going to be breeding, so there's no harm done in preserving the hide of the last one.:) "How many times do I have to flush before you go away?" - Megan Forbes, on Management (12/5/2002)

So, GWB wants to bomb the birds too now? Did a crow take a dump on his father? :) -- Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face.

There was a slight miscommuniction, GWB has learnt that Saddam is in possesion of some Blackbirds, Strike Eagles and some Harriers. ;-) Michael Fat bottomed girls You make the rockin' world go round -- Queen

They don't kill rare birds, they just kill common ones to make them rare. And all because somebody said, a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush. ;-) Michael Fat bottomed girls You make the rockin' world go round -- Queen

It's a shame that they can kill civilian people and they can't kill birds! :~ I guess that stupid lawyers and military idiots will never became endangered species... :) -- Looking for a new screen-saver? Try FOYD: http://digilander.iol.it/FOYD
