What do you want to learn about Red Hat? To begin with, I'd start playing with Fedora (based on the same code). They're a community supported project (versus Red Hat which is mostly commercial) which offers plenty of help, everything from forums to live chat support. Red Hat has a "Certified System System Administrator" certificate. The books for studying for the certificate are the best all around Unix/Linux books available. Fedora Core 16 is now systemd for boot up, which has made most books obsolete. Download Fedora Core, it is their cutting edge software for the Enterprise systems.

The "Core" part was dropped a long time ago. Just Fedora now.
