jQueryUI - droppable

i am trapping the drop event and in the function i am saving the drop panel state, problem is when this event is fired there is still an injected placeholder element that wont be there after the drop is completed... I cant find an event that fires on drop completed! have i missed something? anyone have an idea? thanks for your time
