I posted "Allah Ackbar" to the muslim hater post on the article Arabic Support for Windows CE[^]. Turned out the muslim hater got annoyed, so I got this private email:

        From: <undisclosed>
        Subject: Mohammed

Yea...you keep praying to allah you stupid fuck and to all your
fucking women in their head-to-toe ninja suits. Ahahahaaa

Pretty pathetic if you ask me. This is one of the reasons why I don't follow any religion. Just two words triggered an avalanche of hate from someone who didn't want to hear those words. The words themselves didn't contain anything offensive, merely "God is great". I don't know whether to laugh at this idiot or to cry because of his hatred. Reminds me of an old Depeche Mode song called People are People:

People are people so why should it be You and I should get along so awfully So we're different colours And we're different creeds And different people have different needs It's obvious you hate me Though I've done nothing wrong I never even met you So what could I have done I can't understand What makes a man Hate another man Help me understand People are people so why should it be You and I should get along so awfully Help me understand Now you're punching and you're kicking And you're shouting at me I'm relying on your common decency So far it hasn't surfaced But I'm sure it exists It just takes a while to travel From your head to your fist I can't understand What makes a man Hate another man Help me understand

-- There's a new game we like to play you see. A game with added reality. You treat me like a dog, get me down on my knees. We call it master and servant.

I think you should just ignore this type of individual. There are too many good people you can associate with, instead of dealing with this type of trash. the minion

Can you really ignore such idiots? The way I see it, this guy is no different from Usama bin Laden or Hitler. They hate(d) because of the oppinion expressed by others. It's one thing to hate someone else because of his/hers acts, I can relate to that. But to hate someone for his/hers oppinion/beliefs/religion? That's just not right and it shouldn't be ignored. For instance, I hate1 my neighbours above me. They never know when to shut up. At 3 am it's perfectly ok to make a lot of noise. But I couldn't care less about their religion. Now, if I ignore them, I won't be able to sleep. So I (re)act by slamming the water pipes. That usually gets through their thick skulls and they settle down a little. 1 Ok, maybe it's not hate. It's not like I would go up there and kill them. However, I'm tempted to make a LOT of noise at 5 am in the morning to wake them up. Unfortunately, that'll backfire when my other neighbours wake up.. :) -- There's a new game we like to play you see. A game with added reality. You treat me like a dog, get me down on my knees. I don't know if we are simply not ready for it, or if is really meant to be more of a test to see in the end who was a follower and who was not. We are in control of our own destiny, to do what we think is right and to say what we think is right. I don't need a higher power to tell me what is right and what is wrong. Look what organized religion does to people. It is way to easily twisted into various perverse ideals that do nothing but force those apart that it was supposed to bring together. It separates the haves from the have nots, the 'good' from the 'bad', the mighty from the weak, and the believers from the non-believers. We as HUMANS don't need anything else to point out our differences, what we need is something that makes those differences invisible. The largest problem with most highly religious people are that they never see the forest for the trees. Most (if not all) of them miss completely what religion IS for what it APPEARS to be. They loose the fact that religion was supposed to be the ultimate power that can turn everyone into an equal, break down any barrier, and allow us to live in peace. Instead it ends up turning us in to a race of stone throwers and name callers. A race of high-brow religious bigots that slowly become willing to strap C4 to our chest and walk into a crowded shopping mall, or equally so not allow our children to play with the Jewish next door neighbor.

What a good idea! One of my neighbours becomes crazy because of the mummy who lives above him, and is persecuting him (yes, it's possible!), I will communicate him this one :) Just a precision, what do you call a "a woofer with no cone" ?

Sorry, but I consider this an apples V. Oranges comparison. A sports heroes following is (should be) based upon his/her performance. The problem with religion is that it tries to lead, and sometimes by very poor example. It is far to easy for someone to inflict violence on a group and use it as an excuse. I can't remember the last time that someone killed 3000 people because he thought that his sports team got a rough call in the playoffs. Just 39 deads in the Heysel Stadium (Liverpool vs Juventus), perhaps South America has done better.

I have been thinking about putting on some Goa/Techno and hold the woofer against the ceiling. But I don't want to risk getting into trouble with my other neighbours. BTW, why remove the cone from the woofer? Then nothing will happen...!? -- There's a new game we like to play you see. A game with added reality. You treat me like a dog, get me down on my knees. We call it master and servant.

The cone on a speaker serves only to move a volume of air back and forth as the coil and driver magnet (there are a couple of variatins on the theme). In this application you want the driving force to move the ceiling panel itself - simply attaching the whole speaker to the panel will not transfer enough energy into the next space above. They used to make a thing call a 'driver' that was a coneless speaker with a lag screw for attaching it directly to the walls of your house, and advertised it as a way to "turn your own walls into huge speakers." Connecting the two moving parts of the device to the ceiling causes the panel to flex, in effect, becoming the missing cone, but projecting much more energy into the room above. Of course there is the slight risk that you'll happen onto the natural resonant frequency of the building, with spectacular results... Try to have a video camera available to record the event if it happens.:-D Nobody wants to read a diary by someone who has not seen the shadow of Bubba on the prison shower wall in front of them!
