I can't f***ing believe this! The heat here at work went out but they are asking us to just bundle up and keep banging the keys. The outside temp is not too low ... aprox. 39F / 4C. But damn it I'm from Arizona! I hate these f***ers! Fill me with your knowledge, your wisdom, your coffee.

One of the advantages to work in a socialist state is to have laws to protect the workers: "Art R232-6, fair labor standards act: The closed buildings assigned to work must be heated during the cold season. The heating must be ensured in such way that it maintains a temperature suitable and does not give place to any noxious emanation." ;P;P;P

Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002 -

Oh, there are laws here as well. It is just the pricks know that there are a lot of un-employed tech workers here in Dallas who wouldn't mind working in a 50F / 10C office. When I first started working here this place was realy fun. Now it is just another fucking sweat-shop. BTW. I did enjoy the the benifits of France's labor practices on all of my trips to Grenoble. I loved working there. They made sure that I was out of the office on time and would let me work late. Plus, it seemed like every other week there was a holiday. It is just that most of the places I have interviewed with are pretty much the same and I would have to work for less than I currently make. Just have to put up with it for now and, keep cursing them and thier mothers under my breath. Fill me with your knowledge, your wisdom, your coffee.
