Today's Daily News items are redirecting back to CP where the articles are embedded in an IFrame - really?! I thought it was generally agreed upon that IFrames suck and look like crap to boot. What was the problem with redirecting to the original article?

Your email client must have stripped out the BLINK tag. Was the MARQUEE working? (Fixing now)

My email client, of course! I just set myself up in Outlook Express and the marquee is working like a charm now! :)

Not so sure. Might be a risk of epileptic seizures with that! If you do that, you might have a lawsuit on your hands. Just sayin'...

Well, you can have it automatically break out of the IFrame using this userscript[^] I just wrote. It's written for Chrome; I don't run Greasemonkey in my Firefox installation, so I'm not sure it'll work there too... but I can't imagine why it wouldn't unless GM doesn't support the @match header. I'll update it if it breaks, since I'll be running it myself, and it will annoy me. :P

If you liked that, have you tried the IE6ify[^] bookmarklet?

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint.
