I wonder how many types of war we have invented? I suspect the Japanese might have a good answer to that one. I've always wanted to read The Art of War (having seen so many enticing quotes) but I never have. I've heard it's a good bood for learning how to deal with management. Go figure! Marc Help! Interesting narrated animation on the formation of the USA.[^] No war mentioned... well no war involving Iraq or Arabs or oil or anything, just Americans fighting Americans and Europeans. Good idea this kind of animation. Gives a broad understanding of a countries history, useful for other countries IMO. Now I also understand what Yanks mean when they speak aobut the 49th and 42nd parralells.

That's pretty interesting! I can't believe that huge area (Louisianna) was purchased by Jefferson! I am sorry they didn't mention the price. Imagine he had been a smaller man, and had left it as inheritance only for his family, not for the nation as a whole. History is amazing.
