Is it an Article, a Tip or a Blog?

I have an idea to write a short 'thing' about my experience (as a beginner in most things - if not all!) of choosing a VCS. Only I can't work out what type of 'thing' it is, is it a tip or an article - it felt like a short blog item but I see that's for linking to external blogs rather than a CP hosted blog item. IMO if it is going to exceed two screenfulls, it is an article; if it fits on a single screen, it is a tip; and between 1 and 2, either add some or delete some content! :)

I've created this article via the Wizard and added the tags but am struggling to find the right section, any chance you could have a quick look at it for me? I wanted to choose Application Lifecyle but can't, or at least there's no section of that category that fits... It probably falls into the same class as my previous article, i.e. being more like a blog, but I don't have a blog... Finally, wouldn't mind a mentor having a quick look over it if that's ok?
