has anyone else had a lack of post reply notifications? I didn't get any on tuesday, a few this morning, but they seem to have stopped again :( -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Yep, it happens to me me also sometimes. the notifications seem less to be absent than late, I generally get all of them the next day.

It does seem a little sporadic and random. I just assumed the ones that I weren't getting were being rejected by the new notification system. Michael The avalanche has started, it's too late for the pebbles to vote.

A couple of problems, but I have noticed 1 huge improvement - with one click I have now got all CP notifications out of my junk mail, and on top of that, MSN doesn't notify me that I have a message from CP, as would be expected with a one click, but actually tells me which CPian has replied. Now that it's working it's pretty obvious how, but I must say, it totally rocks! :-D

Every week they are held up by the mailing of the newsletter. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002

It'd probably be fairly easy to make a bot that'd post random stupid VB questions, and nobody would probably ever notice - benjymous - 21-Jan-2003

Sure. 200,000 emails to send, THEN the system needs to work through the backlog of post notifications. I've felt for a while that CP needs a seperate mail server for the newsletter....
