The colonial oppressors of the past reaped the benefits of the colonies and still want to be thought of as the power houses. It doesn't really matter now how France got itself into this situation, finding a solution is a good idea. Countries like IC were created along the lines of colonial reaches of power not the traditional positioning of people. The country needs to be split into several smaller independent units rather than mixing of the peoples like the west wants. Regardz Colin J Davies

Interesting idea, but probably the beginning of a civil war. Except the Czech republic and Slovaquia, I don't remember a country splitting without rumbles. IC was an example for Western Africa for 30 years. Should the nation be comdemned because of a major crisis?

The mixes cultures in African countries really confuse stuff, and tribalism can be far worse then any western racialism. Two cultures in an african country can be far more seperate then any two European cultures combined. Also a lot of the "rebels" are really just criminals and the opportunity of war is just an excuse to rape and loot. Not just IC needs to be broken up and redividied but a lot of other african countries should have the same done. The current situation means that long term one culture, tribe, or family will just continue to exterminate those not of their type. So if France and the West solves this IC problem now, it is just going to reimerge in the future. Not just France but all the Colonial Powers basically left Africa in a mess and unable to properly self govern itself. Originally Africa was split up into divisions that paralleled European Foreign policy and the need for resources.
