Notifications not sent from article comments

Looks like the new (excellent) notification system is ignoring the comments to articles sometimes. A person posted a question and I was notified but a similar notification didn't show up from a general comment. Do some message types get ignored?
Hi Mika, Thanks for reporting. We do not ignore any message types on purpose. But of course, there can be bugs. I am happy to dig in and fix the issue. Do you know the type of message on which you didn't got the notification? This way it will be easier for me to nail down the problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi Elina, If I recall corretly, I got a notification from this: Encrypting a dataset using AES[^] But this one Encrypting a dataset using AES[^] was unnotified. Hopefully those help to pinpoint the possible problem. :)
