Points reduced??

Few days ago I became the platinum member of
Authority SectioninCode Projectafter earning more than 10000 points, Currently, Its showing me platinum member in right top corner, but when I am visiting my profile page its showing me 9,904 points. Should I know the reason behind this. I didnt understand the problem. Without any intimation, how is it possible that the points are reduced. :doh: -
