Anyone know of a a good HTML editor that is downloaded as an application, without the installer. I cannot install applications on my computer, but can start an exe.

I wrote one quite a few years ago (in C++) which I can send you. It's a stand-alone exe. Bit out of date but would do the job. Let em know if you are interested.

I will either need the code or be able to download it from the web. executables are filtered by my email, and cannot more items onto my computer with a USB drive. Otherwise I could probably make something else work. Unfortunately, it is a pain to use the CodeProject editor for articles, and word sucks since it puts a lot of extra stuff in. Guess that is why I always edit XAML instead of using the tools. Thanks

You can get it here[^] as both an exe and a wrapped in a zip file. Use and abuse: hope it helps.

Open Office is fairly good. You can edit the tags and everything. It doesn't do all the incredible comments that Word adds.

That does not meet Clifford's requirement of exe only - no installer. It's a good product, just not the right one for this job. Peter
