Export data from report to excel in the wrong format

I am using Visual 2010 and sap crystal report 2010. I doubt you will get a reasonable response for this issue, Crystal Reports is a dog, their support is legendary, and critically the export methods are a black box, IE you cannot control or adjust it! We found in SSRS that aligning columns and objects with absolute precision eliminated a lot of superfluous formatting in Excel.
