Agree, that could be possible but as we got some email for an issue, we do not get any link for the image. we directly get the image inside email. same way it would be nice if we have. otherwise we have so many sites to host images.

    Thanks -Amit Gajjar (MinterProject)

And what happens when someone puts an image in that's not safe for work? Do you really want to open up an email that some "wit" has decided to put a picture of genitalia in thinking it's clever? This has been debated and the downsides are too many. If you choose to click the image link to open it, you do so of your own volition.

Unsafe images don't always have header info that says they are unsafe. Sorry, but as has been discussed before in this very forum, this is not a great idea.

This one crops up with tedious regularity. Add the image to something like imgur, and then link to it from the question/answer.

Why posting a link? You can also use the img-tag.

For example write a question within:

The preview will be the CodeProject image that's shown on the top of this page also.

In the forums it doesn't work, but in Q&A it's working.

Why should I post a question with an image, if I don't have a question? You can try it yourself. Go to "Ask a question", add a

Go to preview, and an image is shown. Then you can leave QA, without posting the question.

Seriously, try it and find out that you moved to Wrongville, Wrongzona. What you see in the preview isn't what you see when it's actually posted. Obviously I won't make you come back here and say how right I am. We'll just take it as read that I'm right and you're wrong.

Yes, you're right and I'm wrong. I did test it with posting the question and I didn't get an image.
