At the bottom of every post, there is an "email" link. This allows you to privately email that particular user. However, some people turn that off on their account (so I'm told). I've created a suggestion about this on the Bug/Suggestions page. You can check it out here[^].

Thanks, But something like Facebook or any other site where if any one give any message to you, you get some kind of intimation.

If anyone replies to you, then the system will send an email to the address you registered with, if you have not turned off the option. Look at the top right of this page, and hover your mouse over your user name. Select "My Settings" from the dropdown list, and then click on the "Forums" tab in teh new page. Make sure the "Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message" check box is cheked, and press the "Save My Settings" button.

If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

This isn't the right forum to post this question. Post this in Bugs & Suggestions[^]

I disagree, I get far too many emails already - random "hi" from people I don't know doesn't appeal. Besides, this isn't primarily a social site - it's a code site. The social aspect is just a side effect, not a primary reason for coming here.

So - you want an inclusion of a type of chat-box? Which could be beneficial, I suppose.

Absolutely, The user will add people to his chat room, so if any user spamming, the user can remove/Block that user from chat list :)

Yes, that's what I would be interested in. However, I do see the side that some people are taking of not being interested in getting loads random messages from people.

Voting is turned off at present, as you can see from the lack of 1-5 options at the bottom of this. The only available option is to report things with the Red Flag which is only supposed to be used for spam and abuse, neither of which is relevant to any of your posts I can see in this thread. I can only assume that someone feels that the subject is not appropriate for this forum (which it isn't really, it should be in the Sugs'n'Bugs forum) but to report it is a little bit of an over-reaction. Still, people are all different! Ignore it - it doesn't affect you in any real way.
