I am developing a web application since last 6 months, which is now ready to launch. It's a Project Management System hosted on Windows Azure. I think it is very useful and I am very excited. But before I start marketing, I would like to get your first impression. Would you like to evaluate my application on your spare time? Please let me know, what do you think. I will be very grateful to share the details. :) I will use the Code Project Email functionality to send you the details, if you have disabled that feature, please email me your contact information using the same Email functionality, and I will revert back. Thanks!
Old Thread on The Lounge I am developing a web application since last 6 months, which is now ready to launch. I think it is very useful and I am very excited. But before I start marketing, I would like to get first impression of people, who's opinion matters to me. (I have list of 15 Code Project Members) Now the question is, Is it consider as spam, if I contact them using Code Project 'Email' functionality? I promise, I will only contact these 15 members and only once. All I need is few lines of their first impression. (Because I do not have any other way of contacting them. and I am the only person working on this.) Would you like to evaluate my application on your spare time? Please let me know, what do you think. :) It's a Project Management System hosted on Windows Azure, if you are interested in taking a look, please let me know. I will be very grateful to share the details. Thanks! :)
Dunno how it fits into the Lounge.

Why don't you ask a project manager for testing it out?

I will not post the details on Lounge, I am just asking for approval, if I should contact CP members directly or not.

Actually we all work on some kind of software project, so we do not have to be a project manager to use a 'project management system' (you are right, this actually sounds heavy). This is just a web application that helps you organizing work items, and collaborate with your team.

I just said "I dunno" I didn't said "It doesn't fit into the Lounge" ;). This is why I haven't reporteed it

I didn't. I checked my spam filter. Was the site a Hindu/Urdu/English site about poetry by any chance? If so, I saw it.
