I don't always agree with them, but I stand by them. that's called blind faith; but i am a skeptic. GWB has twisted enough truths, done enough 180deg spins on issues and policies in the two years he's been in charge, that i simply don't believe what he says. even without my dislike of him personally, war is a serious matter (as you know). it deserves to be analyzed, criticised and held as a last resort. maybe he does have enough evidence to justify this war. but, it's not my responsibility to believe him without proof; it's his responsibility to convince me and the rest of the country, if he wants our support. if he doesn't want it, or thinks he can get by without it, then fine, he has the authority to do what he wants. all i can do to make my voice heard is to vote !R in 11/04. zenboy wrote: They can't prove it 'cause they are mobile' and our satellites follow paths, not vehicles. Remember when the police told the media that they had lied to them about the Sniper's White Van cause the media would have given away info about the case that the police needed. Its like that, yes we should be entitled to info, but the media gives out confidential info that is needed to be kept private temp for a reason. They also embelish and make up stories to sell more papers, And if you're basing your info on the news media like every other moron than I'm not saying another freakin' word. Because I'm wasting my time. BTW, if I said anything you'd not only 'not' believe me, but you probably not look for solid evidence for justification, just cry about oil cause your gas prices would go up. Hey look at Belgium. Gas is essentially four dollars a gallon, most people ride bicycles, and very few of them are overweight. unlike most americans

Maybe you are, but getting hysterical about it doesn't help. For the record, the US has screwed up its PR over this big time. Most of the European population is now so cynical about your government's motives you wouldn't believe it. GWB has done a huge amount of damage to your image overseas, my friend. Personally, I think it is time Saddam got stamped on - but the US has gone about it entirely the wrong way. At the end of the day disunity among the Western Nations is exactly what the terrorists and their ilk want. Think about it. Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk

Is this not just a natural human response? If I do not like the way store X treats me (or the product), I will at least go to store Y and compare. Arm twisting is when a hoodlum informs me that if I do not buy from store X he breaks my legs. "I will find a new sig someday."

Some people are very touchy about anything anyone says about their country. As I've always said in the past, people should stop thinking small as in countries, and start thinking big as in planets. Like we are all homo sapiens from earth and we will go out and explore and find new habitable planets etc... That should be the sorta pattern people's minds should fall into, rather than all this small-talk about countries and races. Nish
