That's a great idea - I have never seen this one before receiving it via email today, and I spend a lot of time here. Maybe a 'Best and Worst of CP Humor' list would be handy! Happens often in larger cities where stress is at toxic levels just from living there. People have been known to leap out of their cars and pull other drivers out of their cars for a sound thrashing. Sometimes the car gets destroyed, sometimes the driver gets knifed; they call it "Road Rage." Blimey, and I thought Road Rage was shouting abuse at another driver that just cut you up, even thought they can't hear you. Remind me to take the bus when I visit America!

What I meant was has road rage actually happened to you personally? Have you gotten out of your car and banged on a guys window because he drove a bit funny? Or has someone done that to you? Here in SA road rage was a problem the last few years. A few short blocks from me last year a guy got out of his car, grabbed his hockey stick (field hockey.) He walked to the car in front of him, smashed the drivers window, dragged the driver out of his car and beat him to death. Right there in the road, in front of the guys family, in front of HIS family, in front of thousands of stuck motorists. He said he just saw red and did not remember a single thing about it. Apparently the guy in front was a bit slow in taking up the slack from the cars in front. Shocking stuff.

Cyclists are often targets of road rage because frustrated motorists see them zipping past and get pissed off. Many a car door has been opened at just the right/wrong moment.
