    I'm creating an android app which will feed the users data from a MYSQL database via a REST service(created using java). Can you guys provide a economical web hosting solutions for my needs?

      Are you managing, installing, etc the database or do you intend to rely on the hosting service provider for that?

          That is a meaningless question because "optimal" is a subjective term. Obviously one difference is that if the hosting provider is responsible for the database then they insure that the server is up, that it is backed up, that it has reasonable security restrictions, etc. The downside is that it will be limited in some way.

            Hmm I Thought so too. Anyway can u suggest me a hosting which will support REST services?
