There are lots of samples in the Articles section[^] here on CodeProject. However, you would be well advised to get hold of a book on Windows Programming, and study that first. Charles Petzold[^] has written many excellent books on the subject. There are also some useful tutorials at http://www.winprog.org/[^], http://www.relisoft.com/index.htm[^] and http://www.functionx.com/win32/index.htm[^], to name but 3.

Depending on what "using" means in the context of "3 years" you might want to start learning a different language. Certainly if you have been doing it professionally for 3 years then it is worth consideration. Even an enthusiastic amateur might undertake it.

The Qt Project[^] offers a great IDE and GUI framework for C++, including examples for the usage of most of the classes.

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named "Bush", "Dick", and "Colon."
