      What are you trying to do? You can lock tables, etc... yourself if you want, but that could slow your whole architecture down.         Yeah, you should by default allow SQL to handle locking. If you concern is that all processes should complete or fail look at BEGIN TRANSACTION ROLLBACK TRANSACTION COMMIT TRANSACTION
