I'm getting down vote attacks
-
I woke up this morning on lower reputation point that yesterday and when I checked my reputation details I found a series of down votes to my answers. What to do in this case?

Do nothing. Reputation points are completely meaningless.

Ignore it. It may be they are deserved (I don't know which posts got them so I can't say), it may be a number of people just didn't like them, or you may have annoyed someone and picked up a stalker. The best thing to do it ignore it: if you react it shows a stalker that you care and that encourages them to continue, because they are getting a reaction from you. If they don't get any reaction, then the "fun" goes out of it and they get bored and move on. We all get them from time to time. It's not as if you could convert rep points to cash, is it?

Does happen from time to time.... you just have to learn to ignore it and try not to let it bother you.

I am getting the same because I pissed off someone who is just being un-rational. I do think that there should be a limit of say 15 mins to how often you can down vote any given individual, because I got 19 down-votes in 7 mins! I think there is a lot Code Project could do to improve its voting systems to prevent these kind of attacks. Kris
