Yaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooooo But I still think that it's not going to be easy for Pakistan. England has an NRR of +1.073 after today's match. Pakistan has an NRR of +0.227 and Zimbabwe has an NRR of +0.504. It's not going to be easy for either of them to beat England's NRR. Best of luck to the Pak team though. :)

Yesterday I read somewhere that if England makes Australia to bat till 45 overs, then they are techincally in Super Six. On other hand, Pakis need a miracle. To qualify they need to score something like 300+ and bowl the Zim before 100. Follow live World Cup Cricket scores here[^]

Oops! :-O Actually I looked at the tables just after the match ended. Maybe the page wasn't updated at that time? I went to the same page that you have given the link to. What do you think are the chances of England, Zimbabwe and Pakistan reaching the Super Six? Who is going to make it? Any guesses, analysis, theories?

England are out if Zimbabwe beat Pakistan on Wednesday, in which case the African nation would go through - but England have a reasonable chance should the last relevant match go the other way. 1. Zim bt Pak, then Eng/Pak out and Zim in Super 6. 2. Pak bt Zim, well this is tricky part. This makes all three teams with 12 points. Now the rules come into effect. Rule 1 : Zim bt Eng (technically), Eng bt Pak, Pak bt Zim So no result. Rule 2 : If no team decided by Rule 1 then Run Rate factor comes through. Still sketchy but I think England will go through Super 6. Thank god India made to Super 6. Follow live World Cup Cricket scores here[^]

Sure... but then arguably the death threats were worrying enough that we might not have won anyway; or worse, they could have been genuine! (nobody honestly believes this has anything to do with taking a moral stand, do they?) Besides, hindsight is always 20-20, no point in beating ourselves up about it now. True. I never meant to say that the England team should have gone despite threats. I was only wishing that the threats should not have been there in the first place. But you are right. No point going over what can't be changed now.
