    Developer Media[^]:

Developer Media’s CXO, Jeff Hadfield will hold a webinar to reveal the latest results of their Technology Trends research which surveyed over 23 million software developers. Immediately following the webinar Developer Media will officially release its latest Technology Trends Research Report which includes the full survey results and deeper insight and recommendations for tech marketers looking to target software developers.

Hmph. They didn't ask me. Did they ask you? And wait. 23 million? Are there really that many of us? Suspicious... Marc

You count for 2, don't you?

...and updated to "a sampling of 23M developers". I'm know a guy who knows a guy who can get you an invite to the next, ahem, sampling.

            (Devs / World population) * 100 = Percent of world population who are devs (23,000,000 / 7,138,000,000) * 100 = 0.322% or 1 in every 322 people in the world 23M does seem a bit steep...

And consider, as Chris pointed out, that was "a sampling." Well, considering that the population of India is 1.3 billion, yeah, I can see that it's a sampling of "devs". ;) Marc
