I thought that John Howard (Aussie PM) was the only one with interest in cricket. Now Vajpayee too is excited about it. He is going to join the Indian team is India reaches final. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/cms.dll/html/uncomp/articleshow?artid=39262430[^]

But there were some signs of hope because Pakistanfaced this situation few times before and cope with amazing fashion. Anyways, the super sixes matches will be really interesting. Australia is already in semis while India require only one to qualify. But India needs to very careful against SriLanka and NewZealand. They should now stop relying on Tendulkar alone. India's match on 8th against Kenya is day/night and i would not be surprised if Kenya wins it.

John-theKing wrote: They should now stop relying on Tendulkar alone That's the biggest worrying point. How many times can he be successful. Law of avergages is going to hit hime sometime. The second problem is that Indian team gets very complacent after it reaches semis or S6. They need to be very careful. On the bright side Sehwag has not yet shown his full potential in the World Cup. There might be a good chance that he might click. But with India anything is possible that's why I am not very excited yet. It may well happen that they might lose all three or may win all three super six matches. I am sure that team might be working out something.

Don't cry on rain, as Pakis lost all their good teams vs Aus, England and India. After loosing them, they don't deserve to be in Super Six. John-theKing wrote: should now stop relying on Tendulkar alone Care to explain why? John-theKing wrote: India's match on 8th against Kenya is day/night and i would not be surprised if Kenya wins it. Kenya entered the Super Six via back door. They don't deserve to be in Super Six at all. India and Aus will whoop their ass. Follow live World Cup Cricket scores here[^]

Aussies may delibrately lose to Kenya if they percieve that NZ is going to play Semi Final with them. I think it makes lots of sense for Ausies to lose to Kenya. They will have a very easy passage to finals. They are known to do things of these sort previously. In 1999 WC they played very slowly with WI so that WI NRR would be higher than NZ. I believe that is very likely that Aussies will lose to Kenya.

Pakistan was playing at 74 runs for 3 wickets and about 14 overs were already gone. They could do nothing to stop losing. Kenya doesn't stand a chance.

Pakistan needed to make a huge total to increase their run rate to qualify for S6 and the way some of their "world class batsmen" like Inzamam were batting(or not batting ;P) I would not be surprised seeing them lose to zimbabwe without the rain, rain saved them more embarassment. Infact its dissapointing for the English not making to the supersix after their amazing performance against Aussies, if they were playing in Zimbabwe, they would have been in S6. John-theKing wrote: They should now stop relying on Tendulkar alone. Reliance of tendulkar ?? those times were in the past. Everyone said, India would crumble after he got caught by shoaib, but the remaining win was comfortable for dravid/yuvraj. Carved upon my stone, My body lies but still I roam...
