This may be a bit irreverant to some but if you want to enjoy a G.W. Bush speech even more then grab a mate and some beer and a comfy chair. Each time the word 'America' is spoken you must have a drink. If 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' are uttered you must take a drink. If Saddam Hussein is mentioned you must have a drink. If 'Bin Laden' is mentioned everyone has to finish their drink. Follow these simple rules and you too can feel like I do this morning ;) cheers, Chris Maunder

Have you ever tried to play the "Withnail and I" drinking game? Try drinking what the lead characters drink when they drink it. Never seen anyone last the whole film...

Back in my fraternity days we used to play a similar game called "Hi, Bob". We watched the old TV sit-com[^] "The Bob Newhart Show". Every time anyone on the show said "Bob" you had to take a swallow of beer. If anyone said "Hi Bob" you had to chug the remainder of your beer and open another. It was pretty fun until we tried it during one of his Christmas episodes. Guest after guest kept arriving at his front door saying "Hi Bob!" :omg: :omg: :omg: Mike Mullikin

The one I was getting all day was: "Error 0x00486x" or somethihng. No context, no explanation. I truly, honestly believed that the days of programmers dumping an error number without a human readable explanation were over. Obviously not at Microsoft. cheers, Chris Maunder

:laugh: My favorites are "Access Denied" - with no explanation as to what it was trying to access - and "Could not find file" - where the identity of the file is left as an exercise for the baffled. A competent programmer writes error messages which a reasonably bright person can understand and use to diagnose a problem, even if he/she lacks knowledge of the inner workings of the errant program. Why bother to write error messages at all if no one but the app's author(s) can interpret it? It is ok for women not to like sports, so long as they nod in the right places and bring beers at the right times.
