People are just showing how much they like you Cathy. You see it all the time in socially and psychologically decrepit all-male environments like this – anything with breasts and shaved legs gets smothered with useless bickering as they each revert to a high school mentality. I'll second you in that it certainly gets very annoying when the happens -- for the last time people I don't have breasts! :suss: Just ignore it or become a man, the benefit of the latter approach being you'll have much more free time to respond to other threads on CP and will save a fortune each year on makeup expenses and saved hours on shopping trips.

It takes too much time to respond to everyone. I have work to do. I just came here to vent not to get stuck here for hours. Not to mention how vile and rude some of you are! If you guys want me to post here again, I would need a firm commitment that no one will respond. Cathy Life's uncertain, have dessert first!

Cathy: Cathy wrote: I have work to do That's an illusion. It's all a fabrication by your employer to keep you away from CP. Don't give in! :-D Cathy wrote: Not to mention how vile and rude some of you are! You live in San Francisco. Go to a downtown bar (not a gay bar) and say the exact same thing you posted about GWB. I'm sure some people will be rude to you there as well. (Although, San Fran is particularly liberal...so you might just be hailed as a hero). Cathy wrote: If you guys want me to post here again, I would need a firm commitment that no one will respond. You are kidding, right? There's a reason the reply button is on the message. Cathy, come on...this is the Soapbox, anyone is allowed to say anything here. I might be offended by what you said about GWB or even the Satan worshipper comment, but I'm not going to take my toys and leave just because you spoke your mind. In America, we have freedom of speech, but that doesn't mean you have to listen to what everybody says, or respond to it. Same goes here. We can all say whatever we want. But we don't have to pay any attention to posts we don't want to. Please reconsider sticking around. Even though some of us may not like your viewpoint, we do like having you around. :rose:

You don't need to respond to all those responding to you. I mean, it's possible to post something, and just read the replies without responding to all of them, that's what I do, I only respond to those I find relevant... - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"

I know how you feel hun - it's very upsetting when some jump on you - I've been there too and while there are so many people here I feel are as close to friends as is possible in an online medium, there are also a number who I have absolutely no respect for because of the way they treat others. I suspect they're the same ones you're having a problem with. All I can say is please try not to let hose few ignorant people push you away. Time is obviously a problem as well. I try not to chat too much at work for exactly that reason! I'm sure I speak for most people here when I say that if you do disappear, you'll be terribly missed.
