Now this ought to be the most convincing win for India. But, How did SL score 109 from 78/9. Now it just makes Semi Finals stuff interesting If NZ wins 1 or 2 game they are in SF with US. If NZ looses both then winner of Zim vs SL will have SF with us. If Kenya defeats Zim or Aus than we have SF with Kenya.

Couldn't believe it. I had to go out about five minutes after Sachin got picked off. Got back figuring that I'd at least got the second half of the second innings to watch, got myself a drink, turned the TV on, settled down and it only took about three balls to finish it. Damned inconsiderate Indians :-D Paul We all will feed the worms and trees

That explains why Indians allowed them to score 109 runs even though SL was 78/9 - They waited for you and you are saying that they are inconsiderate. Frankly, I was expecting that SL will be able to chase the target and hoping to see some thrilling action esp. in the last few overs.

Had it already finished, I might have been really confused. At least now I know that it's over and can put some music on. Yeah, thanks Rama... damned considerate Indians. :) Paul We all will feed the worms and trees

In 87 and 96 we won consistently (well not so in 96) but we lost in the semi-finals. I hope this time the Ghosts of 87 and 96 donot haunt us. It will be cool if we can have SF with Kenya which will be possible if NZ loses one match and Kenya wins one.

A naara is a Hindi word, and it is used to denote a shout, or a war cry, or a motto, depending on the context. :)
