Doug Garn Joins WSO2 as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Former Quest Software executive brings 20-plus years of experience in technology sales and management, guiding companies to strong revenue and business growth Mountain View, CA – July 29, 2014 – WSO2 today announced that Douglas Garn has joined the WSO2 management team as executive vice president of worldwide sales. He brings more than two decades of experience in technology sales and management, guiding companies to strong revenue and business growth. In his role at WSO2, Garn is responsible for the company’s worldwide sales, spearheading global adoption, and helping customers and partners to realize the full potential of their technology investments. Prior to joining WSO2, Garn assisted Toba Capital in guiding the venture capital firm’s growth and helping portfolio companies to achieve their business objectives. Previously, he held several leadership positions at Quest Software, Inc., an IT management software company, from his starting role as vice president of worldwide sales in 1998 to president, CEO and vice chairman in 2012. In this latter role, he was instrumental in the $2.4 billion acquisition of Quest Software by Dell in 2012.
