On the contrary, good synchronization! People buying a new artillery system can have a free demonstration of its efficiency 200 km northern!

Pretty amazing. :wtf: This caught my eye though: French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie even put in an appearance. That might be because one of the contracts expected to be announced at IDEX is a $776 million one for six Corvette warships to be built jointly by Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding and France's Constructions Mecaniques de Normandie. Corvette? Make mine red please. :) Regards, Alvaro

That's why I stopped to work for the defense industry, it's impossible to know where the weapons will finally go.

Yep, when I was younger, I made several studies for the terrestrial armament industry as training courses. It was really interesting, I have always been fascinated by weapons and the army. But when I worked on projects for small caliber ammunitions, I understood that it was in opposition with my moral beliefs. I can't work on the design of a bullet which could end exploding the head of a child somewhere in Africa. I accept to design weapons to defend my country, I don't accept they're sold to some dictators. That's why I stopped and searched for jobs in others industries.

I'm actually rather surprised I haven't heard this accusation sooner. The US is the world's largest arms seller (no, they don't sell the really really bad stuff like long-range missles or nuclear technology, unlike some other countries), and new technologies were shown off pretty well in Gulf War 1 (Patriot missile system, laser guided bombs dropping though vents, etc), so I expected that people would claim the Iraqi war was really about showing off military technology. ------------------------------------------ "What happened in that Rhode Island club is shocking.
