He/they are - see the Lounge. This member[^] despite pretty much solely commenting on the articles has taken exception to Fat Boy's boycott Israel sig in the Lounge. It seems he's gone through FB's posts and immediately flange them, and has done so for about the first 10 in his history. I don't think he has told FB why he has done this, it was only when Mark raised the issue that anything was said.

I have a stalker or six! :) Clearly my political opinion of Israel upsets some people and rather than allow freedom of expression they decide to try to curtail it in the way Parisien Islamicists do.

I have a stalker or six! :) Clearly my political opinion of Israel upsets some people and rather than allow freedom of expression they decide to try to curtail it in the way Parisien Islamicists do.

I suspect there are people who object to your signature as it is (under a strict interpretation of the rules) political opinion, and thus should be in the Soapbox. Personally, I don't have a problem with it, even though I disagree with it.

My point is, there is no such thing as full free speech in the lounge. The lounge rules have specific censorship rules. If someone is not following the rules, there's nothing wrong with reporting them and there's nothing wrong with not reporting them.

The lounge isn't a place for people to grind their axes. The soapbox was setup specifically to take this sort of overflow.

It's not about free speech vs censorship. It's about respecting the conversation. If you're in a room and one group is talking about gardening you don't just waltz up and launch into a diatribe against the French President. Unless it's about his treatment of his azaleas and his thoughts on garden tool storage. Free speech is a right, but it carries an obligation to show a little respect.
