I just ran across this amazing selection of poorly designed UI's, and it just left me howling. We've all seen our share of bad interfaces, but some of these are doozies. BTW, the company that makes the list is Isys Information Architects

Gee I thought One of mt Apps would have at least made that list :-( , I have always thought folks enjoy complicated - meaningless GUI's , As when they finally work out what they mean - they have a sense of accomplishment and success, Thus any App, that manages this is a real people motivator ! Regardz Coli

At last - somewhere where I can get my code the appreciation it deserves. Kind regards Al. ATL, whomever that is, all the way

I've never been much impressed with that site. Yes, they're dead on with lots of things (especially the Lotus notes interfaces ;) But others are plain matters of personal taste spouted as expert fact, while others are obvious bugs, rather than poor designs. It seems that the authors of that site like talking about how perfect they are in being able to spot these things than offering real advice on how to design interfaces.

Erik, It was more the concept of pulling together samples of the UIs that people send out that caught my fancy. I didn't really put much stock in the opinions of the site owners. You gotta admit, there are some pretty bad UIs posted there. :
