Before all NHL games they play both the US and Canadian national anthems because there are franchises in both countries. A few months ago, a bunch of American morons booed during the Canadian anthem in protest of something (I don't remember the details.) Recently a bunch of Canadian morons booed during the US anthem in protest of the Iraq situation. This morning I heard that a few US franchises refused to even play the Canadian anthem before the game. Just a bunch of childish weasels! Mike Mullikin :beer:

I thought that they played both anthem when there was a team from each coutry ?, I'm not sure they are doing the canadien anthem when two US teams are playing, or the US anthem when 2 Canadian teams are playing. Max.

I know Major League Baseball is done that way, but I thought NHL did both every time. I've only been to one NHL game (Blackhawks vs. Red Wings), but it was nearly 20 years ago and I don't remember.
