This whole thread is becoming intriguing:~ which I think is largely due to the stupid original post. lets' break this down: "After Iraq, what next? Liberate Saudi Arabia? Pakistan? Tibet? Cypress? Northern Ireland?" - original post I reply with: "Liberate CPians from dumb Anonymous posts" I later state: "I didn't mean to be so mean but, come on "what's next"? This is just ignorance."Anonymous replies to this statement: "What's next - What next = 's That the difference among ignorance and knowledge. You will have to talk to my lawyer about this. I do not know his address I know he said http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?msg=456879&forumid=2605#xx456879xx[^] :wtf:is he trying to say here? In the UK some of us still remember IRA bombs that were paid for by american money. Look up Noraid if you doubt me. We know a lot more about terrorism that americans realise. Or should I mention the Contras ? The US doesn't have clean hands on this one. The tigress is here :-D

The objective of this invasion is to get rid of the current regime, not to liberate the Iraqi people. Liberating the Iraqi people is only a consequence, though it could be interpretted as an objective. Lots of people make it sound as if liberation is also anobjective. It is just sugar-coating the issues. IMO, it makes sense to overpower a neighborhood bully with the help of friends when there are no alternatives available. But making it sound as if one of the objectives is to save his abused wife and children is deception probably derived from delusion, especially if those friends are abusers themselves. Unfortunately that is the way politics works.
