Maybe you'd like this: http://www.a1-electronics.co.uk/PcHardware/Various/NEXUS_NXP-201_Feb03.shtml[^] This Vantec NEXUS NXP-201 now gives those of you overclocking (naughty you) the opportunity to control your water pump... :-D [edit] or this: http://www.a1-electronics.co.uk/Heatsinks_Cases/Cases/Swiftech_FS020-H20_pg3.shtml[^] (scroll down to see picture of CPU water pump) [/edit] Marc Help! I have recently been researching on the internet about water cooling, thought I may try it just for the fun of it. Seems to me that people tend to like the swiftech[^]and danger den[^] systems the most. I am at this very moment lokin at reviews of the Swiftech H20-8500A.

I was considering the Thermaltake Aquarius 2 for a couple of reasons - it's inexpensive ($150), and the water pump is powered by the computer's power supply instead of having to be plugged into it's own electrical outlet. The reason I asked about fluid dynamics is because I was considering adding a 2nd radiator to allow more "off-chip" time for cooling. Would that have an adverse effect on water delivery, or is it safe to consider it as merely "a little more tubing"? As far as volume goes, the pump is rated at a fairly small 23.5 GPH (compared to other cooling solutions that are in the 200's and 300's. I was considering watercooling soley for the noise reduction, because I don't overclock my stuff. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

I had also considered this one, but from the reviews, it didnt seem to sound as good as the swiftech one did. Would that have an adverse effect on water delivery, or is it safe to consider it as merely "a little more tubing"? The reviews I have just read on the swiftech one all say that although it does provide good cooling, it can be improved by using a bigger, more powerful fan, or by the addition of a second radiator, therefore, a second radiator would make things cooler. John Simmons / outlaw programmer wrote: I was considering watercooling soley for the noise reduction, because I don't overclock my stuff. same here, im doing it for noise reduction (im not overclocking anything.....yet :suss: ) and this swiftech one is meant to be quite quiet.
