    The Sydney Morning Herald[^]:

It has been called the most bizarre star in our galaxy and some think it just might be home to high-tech aliens. The unlikely suggestion that aliens live in this star system is being taken so seriously that a team of astrophysicists wants to train a radio telescope in its direction to determine if any signals could indicate advanced extraterrestrial life.

You're right! Thanks for catching that. We've posted a new news item to replace it.

Why? What is it that you think makes our nondescript little planet so special that it's the only place in the entire vastness of the universe where so-called "intelligent" life could evolve? The real "WTF" would be if we examined every part of the universe and didn't find any evidence of alien life.

I don't think we are alone in the universe. I agree with you. But I think if we find another civilization, that will end in the extintion of one of us.
