In a letter to be sent to Kickstarter backers on Tuesday, shared in advance with WIRED, Oculus said that any backer of the 2012 Kickstarter who pledged at the $275 level or above (that is, enough to get an Oculus development kit as a Kickstarter reward) would get a special Kickstarter Edition Oculus Rift.
