CRM Tool

Hi All, I'm looking to learn more about the Vantive 8.6 CRM application. I realize that PeopleSoft bought out Vantive back in '99, but my company received this tool via an acquisition and is possibly looking at integrating it into the operations side of the business. If you could point me in the direction of some good, useful and detailed information I would appreciate it. Or if you have some knowledge on this subject and would like to share it, that would also be appreciated. Thanks for your help, Nick Nick

Vantive is possibly the worst application in the world. Its slow, not very scalable, and its reporting/mining tools in the browser with a great big ActiveX control sucks. Yes I am lucky to have it at work, and when we asked Vantive to look at some improvements we were told that having being bought by Peoplesoft they would soon no longer be supporting Vantive 8. All I can say is watch out, you may get stung.
