Recent posts feature in the lounge if often not working as expected

In the lounge there is a set of tabs in the top-left that show things like recent posts, news, jokes, etc. More often than not I find that this just says "no messages found". It rarely seems to work as expected. I can never find any consistent reason why it stops either. Just appears to do it at random. I would post a screenshot but as of right now it seems to be working fine.
