Restore an Article that was accidentally deleted
-
I don't even know if this would even find an answer that puts things back for me. I've accidentally deleted an article of mine and have lost the article and likely a couple years of reputation points as well. Quick Google Search didn't bring me to the right page, so I thought I'll pen down a question instead. **It is possible to restore a deleted article back (along with its Reputation history)?** Edit: I have found a draft of the deleted article. Would publishing that with some updates bring back the reputation history? Thanks in advance.

Restoring the article should restore the rating, comments, stats, and reputation of the article. If a few days goes by and your reputation is unaffected, mention something in Bugs and Suggestions[^]. It's actually a little weird, the system treats it like a brand new article, but it keeps everything it once was. Would you like me to restore it? Is it this one? Automated Chat Agent in ASP.NET using SIML as the backend Chatbot Language[^]

If you still have the url from when you were editing the article, you should be able to just go back to that and it will come up with an archived version of your article!
I received an email this morning from LinkedIn telling me which posts were getting the most viewerships. Then I saw the one with the most views and thought, hmm, lets share it again.
So I clicked on the post and I see it doesn't have a banner picture up top. This feature was something LinkedIn recently added. So I go to add a picture. Then after I added the picture, I had a second thought and wanted to change it. I felt the picture didn't really convey what the post was about.
