What will be an efficient Database design for this problem? What tables should be created and what data should be stored in each?

How else would you classify that demand? If you are tasked with designing a database, and someone else hands you a complete database design, how is that not doing all the work for you?

It is. We're perfectly happy to help if you get stuck. But if you turn up and dump a list of requirements and expect us to do all the work for you, you've come to the wrong site.

Let me clarify that I DO NOT EXPECT you or even someone else to do the work. I am just asking for ideas. Feels like I have come to the wrong site, because of some people who are saying things which I did not even mean:|||| :((

How exactly are they doing that? Are they holding you captive in a cellar and refusing to release you until you write the project? Go to your tutor and explain the situation and ensure that he/she understands that any work you submit will be purely your effort and no one else's.

That is how this site is. Two answers: One tells you off and wastes readers time with rants against the person that is asking for help. The other one gives you solid advice without degrading you and is potentially helpful to others that read here. Note this: Both have very high numbers indicating that they might be someone of some importance relating to something. But, still one verbally stomps on your head and the other one helps you to stand and take a path to resolution of your problem. That is this site. I expect to get a big negative for this answer, but it had to be said. I will think about your question, and if you give some more information on the size of your data (10 entries, 10,000 entries, ?), and your operating system, and any other information that you think is important, then someone might have some suggestions.

No. It was not a reply to you. It was a reply to Gopika Ravikumar's original post. Not to you. The line of it went to you, and when I saw that I tried to change it but my internet connection locked up. Richard Deeming said, "Says the person whose only other message on this site is a "do all my work for me" question in the database forum." That is not nice. That is arrogant. Then when the poster, who seems to think that this is a "helpful" site tried to placate Deeming and received, "But if you turn up and dump a list of requirements and expect us to do all the work for you, you've come to the wrong site." More arrogance from Deeming. I do not care how many points he has. That means nothing as he has proven multiple times in degrading other people that are simply asking for help. Maybe I should have contacted the advertisers on this site and pointed out to them how offensive some memebers like Deeming are. Maybe the advertisers will consider that the negativity transfered to readers is also by association transferred to their product. I have been thinking about that. I like your posts, generally. You seem to get flustered by new people's questions occationally, but you do not agressively degrade them. I might some day like to meet you and simply listen to what you have to say in general. Have lunch. Sit and listen. That sounds nice. But, bullies like Deeming, I have a tendency to get in a bully's face, nose to nose. I would cross a room full of people to stand in the face of a bully. I have always been that way. You can delete my account if you like. It is OK. I have learned what I mostly came here to learn, which was how to break apart files into bits and analyze them for security purposes. I noticed 7 negative 16's on my reputation history today. I guess that means that I have found a bully and am standing in his face, right where I enjoy being. You guys depend upon advertising revenue. Think about that. If I am to advertise on your site, then it had better be a lot less negative. I come from heavy industry, where there is a lot more money simply in the cash flow than your tiny advertisers that you have now can pay. CFOs that have MBAs are [supposedly] trained like I was in head to head competitive strategies. Advertising on a negative site can preclude a viewer's tendencies toward disliking or at least feeling uncomfortable with any and all that they encounter (like advertising) while perceiving negativity. A recent study published in The Independent suggests that less active people, or "the lazy," may be more intelligent than those who are constantly active. This supports the idea that people with high IQs get bored less easily, leading them to spend more time thinking. As an essay expert, I am assisting them and providing online https://www.buyessay.org.uk/marketing-essay-topics/.

One good way of taking all the credit for this project is that you can do the research work and make the project unique, do not share the copy with your teammates so that they are not aware of what you have written or mentioned on the project. While submitting the project just write your name and do the submission, if anyone asks why the name of other team member are not there so you can easily ask the teacher to take a quick viva to see who all have helped her, this will make your task easy and they will fail as you have completed your work.

The question at Database design for a project - Database Discussion Boards[^] certainly give the impression that you do. And your original post in this thread complains that your team mates are all lazy, but does not explain what you have done or where you are stuck.

I just gave a basic description of what my work was. It was my fault for phrasing my question like that. It wasn't really my intention to make somebody else do my work or anything.. and this is my first time here so I was just checking if there was someone willing to help. What I got was rude comments, and I stopped coming to this site altogether. So yeah I understand I must be more specific so that some people don't get the wrong impression. Anyway, the whole thing is over and the problem was solved. So there is no point in further discussion. Have a great day.

Let me clarify that I DO NOT EXPECT you or even someone else to do the work. I am just asking for ideas. Feels like I have come to the wrong site, because of some people who are saying things which I did not even mean:|||| :((

Don't get it wrong all are here help each other. But none want to do it all by themselves. And it is good to ourselves that they don't do it fully. So we can also learn things by doing it. As with the Project its luck to get a good team. Now when I remember my College project I had a nice team. Especially my Hostel mates we three worked on different things on project. One worked physically, Me and other friend did all the typing work. We discuss the Logic and Flow of the project together. It was a good experience when I recall it now.

Congrats Its a bad luck you got lazy or careless Team. Also it may be learning curve for you. Don't get upset by the old members here. Its that they think we don't give effort and simply post all our codes when stuck. There have been a few people that do it its all about newbie mistakes. As they come across more and more people do it they may get over their cool selves. I also had experienced this type of things when I started my career and wanted to get things fast. I don't even know how to do a certain thing and post it in hope someone will help but here I had few bad experience.

Says the person whose only other message on this site is a "do all my work for me" question in the database forum. If you have a problem with other members of your team, talk to your tutor and/or teachers. That's what they're there for.

Therefore, I would recommend the same for you. Good Luck!

They are making me do all the work and now I am under a lot of stress and I do not know what to do. I keep getting stuck and burnt do but there is no one to ask for help...If I am not able to complete the project I might fail for the subject

I should have mentioned this before but I did not think sufficiently of it. It looks like you are willing to accept a load of responsibility that is upon you. Good. Be the "i" in every team that you are on. The weak minded cannot see that i in team because they are not it. It looks like you already know that you are it. OK, so, force yourself to succeed while (inadvertantly) dragging the complainers, whiners, and lazy forward to success. Let them fail on their own time. This is your time to succeed. Yes, I complain and while myself. :(( Thank you for giving the chance to see that. I shall work on removing that from my own preferrendums.

I think that the commentators were unnecessarily rude. For a college student, it seems like quite a dilemma when you don't want to have bad grades but your teammates aren't as motivated as you. My take on this is that you're studying for yourself, not for a grade. In my 8+ year career, nobody cared about my college grades at all. Anyways, congrats on completing the project

ChatGPT helps as well, when I get stuck on a programming problem. It's not perfect but it can get you started.
